John Hench (78.7% Cancer, born June 29, 1908, time unknown, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA) was “Disney’s Renaissance artist; Imagineer, philosopher, animator, designer, storyteller [and] voracious reader.” Starting in animation in 1939 as an animator, by 1954, he was developing a giant animatronic squid for “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” which earned him the Oscar for Special Effects. Moving to the “Imagineering” department, he designed the groundbreaking Space Mountain and Tomorrowland attractions among many others worldwide. Due to his strong resemblance to Walt Disney, he was often asked for autographs and pictures with visitors who thought they were meeting Disney himself. Hench was also responsible for the look of the modern Olympic torch. Nearly all subsequent versions have been modeled after his design for the 1960 Winter Olympics in California. He worked at Disney full time until his death at 95 in 2004. His name tag and the prestigious Disney Legend award for his 65 years of service are prominently displayed in the lobby at Imagineering HQ.

Even without an exact birth time, Cancer is the undisputed ruler of his chart accounting for over 3/4 of the planetary influences, including the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and the North Node. Jupiter is in Leo, Saturn is in Aries and Uranus is in Capricorn closely opposing most of the Cancer planets. Antonia Fraser (born August 27, 1932, 2:45 AM in London, UK) is an English author of history and novels, best known for writing biographies and detective fiction. She is the second wife of the Nobel Laureate Harold Pinter. Her bestselling books tend to be exhaustively researched biographies of history’s strongest women, including The Warrior Queens, the story of various military royal women since the days of Boadicea and Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette: The Journey, and Mary, Queen of Scots.

Her chart couldn’t be more perfect for a wildly commercially successful author known for bringing history, and the powerful women who helped write it, vividly to life. She has Cancer rising opposite Saturn in Capricorn in the 6^th house of work, indicating the dedication and research that goes into writing detail-rich historical novels as well as nonfiction. Her 12^th house packed with Venus, Mars, the Moon and Pluto (conjunct the AC in Cancer) shows her love of history, ancestry and her focus on telling the stories of marginalized female characters. Anywhere in her chart, a powerful triple conjunction of Jupiter, Neptune and the Sun especially in Virgo would signify writing talent, and in the third house they practically guarantee it. Finally, Mercury in Leo in the 2^nd house suggests a mode of self-expression that brings worldly success and acclaim, and indeed, she has been a fixture on the bestseller lists since the 1970s and many of her books have been adapted for film and television.
