Show Notes
In the spirit of never staying “static” in my survival mine
set, here I go again tweaking my survival kits. For me it’s a way for life but
for some this can be somewhat of a daunting or confusing task. I mean let’s
face it; these days you’ve got: EDC’s, Bug out Bags, Get Home Bags, Backpacks, Car
Kits, Lightweight, Ultra Lightweight, Micro Kits, The Kits that Les gave me
Kits, Kits in some kind of Tin Kits, Caveman Kits, Ready-made Kits, Kits that
cost a lot of money Kits and then -there’s the kit you build yourself. I like
this kit because I know what’s in it and chances are I’ve probably used or
practiced with the items in it before.
Items in my kit and remember my Systems of Survival as you build your kits.

Bottom Line
Have a Survival Kit. Why not? The
only thing you have to loose is your life. Keep it on you if you can or at least in arms
reach. Know what’s in it and how to use
the stuff.
If you have kids, let them help you put the kit
together and let them come up with some ideas for items like putting a family
photo in the kit. Help them build the one for their adventures.
