I left out a comparison I wanted to make regarding the use of magic in my Izetta segment. I noted how when magic is a core element of the plot, sometimes it can feel like poor writing when the limitations aren’t clearly defined.
It’s one of the reasons why many reads of Harry Potter had such a big issue with the Time Turner. Questions such as, “How come they don’t use the Time Turner to alter the past?” come up because they’re perfectly valid.
By the same token, some of Izetta’s fighting style doesn’t make sense even with the limitations we’ve seen thus far (need to touch an object to control it). Hopefully it’s not too big of an issue in the coming episodes.
