The Truth Behind #blacklivesmatter and Berkley Liberals on Voter Id Laws| The Rocco DeLeo Show

January 09, 2017

Why is it that it is just assumed that the democrats have a lock on the black vote? Clinton won the black vote 88 to 8.
Are black people generally liberal across the board or do they vote on issue (abortion, foreign affairs, economy, etc)?
I don’t know that it’s specific to blacks in general, but as a voter group, they may be simply falling for political games like the rest of us.
Of course, many will have real political ideology and reasoning for voting the way they do and overall making the decisions they make. As is my theory for most American’s today, however, I think most people simply go with the flow and don’t think about the WHY behind their political decisions.
Do most black people relate to the Black Lives Matter group? This is an honest question. Just as the students in my previous episode clearly chose A brutal communist dictator over Donald Trump, people are more and more thinking (or not thinking) based on Facebook likes and twitter retweets. It may be scary for a black person (or a white person) to respond to black lives matter with “what are your beliefs?” Of course black lives matters, but is there more to your movement or are you simply trying to help underprivileged inner city youth find opportunity?

This isn’t about race, it’s about socialism. If that’s what you believe in, so be it. Don’t be fooled into thinking its about helping disadvantaged people.
Furthermore, I fell into this topic for this episode as I came across this video about Voter Id cards. It again shows a snapshot of what many liberals think of black people. The twist at the end of the audio is the hilarious reaction of “real live black people” and how they react to what is being said about them.
I may be way off the wall and coming out of nowhere here. I think that most black people are just like me. They go to work, school, church, and the grocery store. They hate the long lines at costco on Saturdays after kids soccer games, and hate waiting at urgent care when there kids get ear infections. They have concerns about the world and may even care about major social issues. I bet, however, just like you and I, they are more concerned about the well being of their kids, the company that provides their paychecks, and the how the heck to pay from braces for their kids than they are for quasi gendered bathrooms at Target, or oil pipelines a thousand miles away, or even the thought that police are driving around town playing target practice with the next black man, woman, or child who shows up at Jack in the box. Im guessing, maybe I’m wrong, but most black people are just like me, normal americans.
