WikiLeaks has published a huge trove of what appear to be CIA spying secrets. I’ll tell you a few things you need to know and let you know why I think you should be upset. President Trump does not accept the contention of the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, that Mr. Trump falsely claimed that President Barack Obama had him wiretapped. House Republicans on Monday released long-anticipated legislation to supplant the Affordable Care Act. Senator Rand Paul, who is advocating for a complete repeal of the ACA is upset about “Obamacare Lite”.
▶ Economics: Global stocks have rallied on promises of large investments in infrastructure and tax cuts in the U.S., but markets are now set for a sharp correction. Now the media is presenting people who agree. Jesse Felder, founder of the Felder Report and an alumni of Bear Stearns & Co., on Friday warned of an impending selloff. According to the Lombardi Letter, a U.S. stock market correction this year could be inevitable.
▶ Global Issues: Japan is on their highest alert over North Korea. North Korea trains to attack US bases on Japan. The THAAD missile defense system arrives in South Korea… Beijing warns of ‘consequences’ over deployment and Iran is pressing the US Navy.
