On today’s podcast we’ll discuss the following:
▶ General News: People are about to protest a billboard that reads: “Real men provide. Real women appreciate it.” I’ll tell you why both the billboard and the protests are stupid. A student activist group at the University of Michigan is demanding campus officials provide them with a permanent designated space on central campus “because we want a space solely dedicated to community organizing and social justice work specifically for people of color.” Former CIA operative and military Intel officer, Robert David Steele, says there is no doubt President Trump is dealing with “treason in his own house.” Road blocks ahead, indeed.
▶ Economics: The DOW continues its climb. Former House Speaker John Boehner predicted that a full repeal and replace of Obamacare is “not going to happen.” Federal Reserve officials expressed confidence they can raise interest rates gradually “fairly soon”. We’ll talk more about the debt crisis that is unfolding.
▶ Global Issues: Iran is gearing up for war… in fact, they might be trying to instigate one. Japan has protested to Russia over its plan to boost troop strength on disputed islands. Russia’s defense minister acknowledged that his nation has also built up its muscle by forming a new branch of the military — information warfare troops.
▶ Health: I’m doing a health segment today. I want to let you know that taking a break is okay. You need it. So if you need to step back and de-stress, I’ll give you a medical reason to do so today.
