Trends forecaster Gerald Celente says the resignation of top security advisor Michael Flynn is further proof there is an ongoing “destabilization campaign”. The globalists are in action. Congress is off to a slow start this year, and some Republicans are starting to get nervous. Ann Coulter has some choice words. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 55% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.
▶ Economics: Markets are at record highs, but optimism breeds recklessness. The Nasdaq is in the midst of its biggest string of records since the dotcom bubble. I want to read you a warning from economist Laurence Kotlikoff. Is it time to get out the stock market to avoid the crash if you have individual stocks?
▶ Global Issues: An annual report on military power throughout the world cites Chinese and Russian activity as rising threats to Western powers. U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Thursday rejected any kind of military collaboration with Russia. A new report by Thomas Shugart on War On The Rocks details the disturbing level to which China appears to have planned out a crippling missile attack on US military bases in the Pacific should its interests in the region be threatened. China is reaching near-parity with the West in military technology.
