▶ General News: A federal judge on Tuesday rejected arguments that a Kansas law can shield from federal prosecution anyone owning firearms made, sold and kept in the state. Wait… so you mean to tell me that FEDERAL Judge is going to side with a FEDERAL law? Weird. What does this mean for Colorado and Washington who are breaking FEDERAL laws left and right? Anarchists and leftist agitators rioted across the campus to stop a speech by Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has cut funding to Travis County. The new US Secretary of Homeland Security said the US-Mexico border wall ordered can be built in two years.
▶ Economics: The Central bank didn’t raise its key interest rate Wednesday at the end of its two-day meeting. We’ll talk about unemployment for a bit. The Department of Education recently released a memo admitting that repayment rates on student loans have been grossly exaggerated. Schiff says that Trump is very likely to preside over the largest expansion of Federal budget deficits in our history.
▶ Global Issues: We may be going to go war with Iran pretty soon. U.S. Strategic Command head Gen. John Hyten is talking about war in space. All the major international military events of 2016 may have been part of a plan to encircle Russia. US Defense Secretary James Mattis defended the planned THAAD system in South Korea.
