Clean the world is helping to save thousands of children's lives every year around the world. Five thousand children die every year from pneumonia and diarrheal diseases. Clean the World is changing that by collecting hotel soaps and personal care products, and creating new bars of soap, which are then distributed to those in need, here in the United States and in developing countries around the globe. The result is a decrease in child mortality rates, and as a result, an increase in attendance at school. I talk with Shawn Seipler about Clean the World and the impact it is having.
