Rise International has a simple plan - build schools in rural Angola to educate children, empower communities and contribute to the rebuilding of the country. Angola is located in Southwest Africa and is home to 24.4 million people. 2002 saw the end of a brutal 27 year civil war, which left its infrastructure decimated, people displaced and suffering - most not having access to clean water, healthcare and education. The schools built by Rise International have impacted over 106,000 children. This is ensuring a bright future for Angola.
