Together We Bake is an empowerment based job training program for women in need of a second chance within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. I talked with Stephanie Wright, one of the co-founders of program about how Together We Bake is helping women gain self confidence and enter the workforce with a strong set of skills and the self confidence to know how good a job they can do. I also talked with one of their graduates, and employee, Lekisha, about her journey to becoming an integral part of Together We Bake.
