There are so many. Certainly, the very familiar, John 3:16 or Psalms 23, but I think the one most important is Micah 6:8.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

The other verse that is an underlying theme of my book, is John 20:29.

Then Jesus told him,
‘Because you have seen me, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’
