Shane Conlon is a 1B for the Kansas State Wildcats baseball team.  He was recurited out of high school as a pitcher, but after having Tommy John surgery his sophomore year of college (2012), he was forced to transform his game in order to get back on the field and help his team.  Shane played 1B for the Wildcats during their remarkable 2013 season, tying for the team lead in HRs and starting 64 games at 1B.
