We are about over with September and as I mentioned just a few days ago Locktober is coming. What is locktober well it is a month dedicated to locking up those cocks. Yes chastity is a huge kink for many and i happen to love locking up those dicks! Here are a few things before you begin chastity that you should do and consider, as well as some tips for when you are locked up.

* Chastity keeper. Yes you need someone in charge of your chastity otherwise it simply is not fun. Either your partner or a close friend and of course you can always find a chastity Mistress who will be all to happy to help.
* Chastity device. Before trying locktober you need to have a device. I suggest you have one and have worn it several times increasing the length of time you wear it slightly to prepare for 24-7 lock up
* Hygiene. You need to shave and prepare the area for lock up. There is nothing worse than having a hair ripped out due to the bars on your cage getting caught. Shave or at the very least trim
* Mental prep. You need to be prepared for the wild chastity ride you are about to take. There will be good days and bad days. Easy days and very hard climb the wall kind of days. prepare yourself, read up on the effects of chastity understand what you are about to go through  before it hits you like a ton of bricks.
* Commit to the process. Commit yourself to the process and the length of lock up. If you are doing locktober for the first time commit to the month and follow through. If you are not ready for that type of long term chastity then start small. Whatever the length of time commit to the process in order for it to be rewarding.

Tips for when you are locked in chastity

* Communicate how you are feeling with whomever you chose to be in charge of your lock up. Communicating can often be a release so simply saying you are frustrated and fucking horny may help you through that rough moment.
* Visual inspection is very important when you are in chastity get a hand held mirror and check things out daily. Look for any redness or even broken skin. be sure to address it right away. Many times doing a visual inspection daily cant fix a small issue before it becomes a painful big one.
* Clean your device when you take a shower every day you need to pay special attention to the device and clean and rinse it thoroughly. If you have a device that is not open bring some q-tips into your shower and get in that device and get things clean.
* get some antibiotic ointment and have it handy in case of any issues so you can take care of them right away
* Remember that how you feel the first week wont be how you feel the second week. Do not give up just because your having a bad day I suggest you give yourself 24 hours. If you feel you cant go on well sleep on it wait 24 hours before throwing in the towel.
