It Still Happens

In this episode, I just cant help but share my funny, interrupted day with you. Even 30 years later, any given day can be an adventure. My day may go as planned or it can go awry and take me off track for hours. The key to having a satisfying and productive day is knowing how to be agile. There is a difference in how my day turns out now, compared to how it used to turn out years ago.


If and when you find yourself dealing with uncertainty and stress it’s important to be aware of how your body is responding. It can cause your body to slowly, but surely break down.

A simple technique to help you manage in the moment chaos or stress is to :


  • Stop
  • Breathe in slowly, hold and exhale slowly ( specifically, in for 6, hold for 3, out for 8)
  • Ask yourself is it really that bad?
  • Did I have (Do I have) control of this situation
  • If yes – take control
  • If no – say this our loud: It is what it is”
