10 Reaching a Milestone - 803Podcast

December 28, 2016

Join Tyrone as he talks about reaching the 10th episode milestone and what are some of the pros and cons of starting a podcast. The first episodes are a mixed bag of topics and attempts to emulate what I’ve heard while listening to my favorite podcasts. The biggest takeaway is that I should try to be as consistent as possible.  My approach to presenting content to my audience will grow and evolve, just like my audience, one episode at a time.
Summary

* Preparing to be successful: Preparation is something I took for granted until I started actually recording.
* Sharing my journey with other people: I didn’t believe my personality was so dry until I started podcasting. By that I mean I lacked ‘energy’ during my shows because its pretty nerve-wrecking.
* Fed Up and finally taking action: I’ve talked about wanting to get healthier so I started a personal fitness plan which started with me getting in the right mindset. I understand something about myself that I overlooked before because I was arrogant. I’m pretty slack. So I joined a gym, again, and will making exercise along with a healthier diet apart of my daily routine.
* 2016, The gift that keeps on giving: This year has its fair share of highs and lows, but what year hasn’t? I may look back on this year with contempt in some ways and a smile in others. It matters that I get another chance to do something awesome and share it with others.

Next time: Expect another episode before the end of 2016. I just finished “How to Get Away with Murder” S1 & S2, had a screener for “Office Christmas Party”, and there’s still plenty to talk about!
