A Study in Crime

2. Philly Swoop and Squat

April 23, 2024

Insurance fraud is a criminal act.  And in Philadelphia it's legendary. The City of Brotherly Love is famous for fraudulent auto accident techniques like the Swoop and Squat.  But the real problem in this Philadelphia experiment is the general acceptance of fraud. It's an ecosystem of claimants, tow truck drivers, body shops, chiropractors, attorneys, and the courts. A Study in Crime speaks with insurance fraud professional Robert Gaines.
