This week on the 365 Days Podcast we have a special guest in the studio--my husband Greg. He speaks to us all about how working with drug addicts as a probation officer can relate to our life. Have you ever noticed that when someone is counting on you for something you're WAY more likely to get that thing done than if you're relying solely on yourself? If you have goals that you want to accomplish or areas that you need to get better at one way to ensure that it happens is to get an accountability partner. What is an accountability partner? Someone (or in some cases something) that provides structure for you to succeed with your goal.

For example, you want to start running two times a week. If a friend is waiting on the corner for you at 6:15 in the morning those two mornings you'll be more likely to actually complete your goal. Another example, it using technology like a FitBit to provide accountability and measure what you are doing each day. What we measure gets done. Let's say you're sick of your dirty house. Invite some friends over in 5 hours. That will ensure that you get your booty cleaning in no time.

This week's challenge: Create accountability for yourself. Pick an area in your life where you need accountability and create the structure that will ensure your success.
