Roger Clemens Strikes out 20! – This DiSH for April 29

April 29, 2024

In 1986, Roger Clemens struck out 20, becoming the first player to do it.

In 1970, Jerry West sank a dramatic 3/4 court shot to send the NBA finals game into OT.

And in 1981, the New Orleans Saints selected RB George Rogers with the first pick of the NFL draft. Second pick that year was LB Lawrence Taylor.

‘This Day in Sports History’ is a one PERSON operation. I research, write, voice, and produce each show. So if you like the podcast, subscribe, rate and review and tell your friends about it!
