It might all look happy and confident on the surface, but the reality is, social media (including Fetlife!) isn’t the best place for our self esteem. I’m not telling anyone to stop using these platforms - I actually think they do a lot of good as well, but when scrolling your feed, it’s important to be aware of how it’s affecting you. 

In this episode I talk about the 3 most common pitfalls we all fall into on social media, including Upward Comparison, FoMo and the Low Self Esteem Cycle. I give you an honest behind the scenes look at what Fetlife is like for me, and I do my best to suggest some small changes you can make, to make your Fetlife experience a more positive one.
