Today I sit down with Charla Janecka, a therapist who helps her clients see below the surface of their struggles. Charla speaks about identity with deep compassion and a tender heart for those who believe lies about themselves or are struggling with body dysmorphia.

Charla is a licensed therapist in Southlake, Tx. She is EMDR certified and practices SRI and somatic experience to release trapped trauma and pain from the body. She works to restore identity and wholeness by healing past trauma, and the pain attached to the memories we carry. She serves teens, adults, and relationships in crisis; including infidelity, betrayal & porn/sex addiction, gender confusion, and body dysmorphia. Charla served as a pastor at Gateway Church and holds a Masters’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy & a Bachelor’s in Theology and Biblical Counseling.
