In night twenty-one of the 1001 Nights Podcast, we bring you our first tale from chapter four, The Story of the Humpback. The story of the Humpback is a winding tale of coincidences, in which multiple parties believe they are responsible for killing a humpbacked man (who in reality choked on a fishbone). All of the thought-to-be-guilty parties come before a king and are asked to each tell a story that's "more wonderful and strange and exciting" than the story of the humpback's many deaths.

The first of these strange and exciting stories will be told tonight, with the entirety of "The Story Told by the Christian Broker," reinterpreted by Matthew William. Matthew is the creator and author of The Enoch Pill podcast.
