In night seventeen of the 1001 Nights Podcast, we continue chapter three: “The Story of the Porter and the Ladies of Baghdad.” Tonight we hear more of “The Story of the Third Mendicant” in which a king and his superstitious fleet of ships come across loadstone and all but the king abandon ship. He is a nice and just king who would never kill a teenager. We also hear the beginning of "The Story of the Mistress of the House," which takes place in space.
