In night sixteen of the 1001 Nights Podcast, we continue chapter three: “The Story of the Porter and the Ladies of Baghdad.” Tonight we hear more of “The Story of the Second Mendicant” in which a disgraced prince of Hollywood humiliates a powerful jinn and ends up contractually obligated to play the part of an ape in a very uncomfortable costume. We also hear the very beginning of "The Story of the Third Mendicant," in which the third blind-in-one-eye guest tells us his tale—he is very superstitious.
