Training The Physical And The Mental

I have a confession.


I am not as congruent as I’d like to be.


For years I’ve been training my mind…yet I’ve ignored my body.


My biggest struggle over the years has been quitting smoking.  At 41, I’m not nearly as healthy as I’d like to be, although I’m much healthier than I was just 5 years ago.


This week I decided to get off my butt and start training my body.


I started the Couch to 5k program…and this morning completed week 1.


I registered for my first 5k Race, which is 27 days from now.


Honestly, I feel better this week than I have in a long, long time.


Mental training is great.


Physical training is great.


Put them together and the growth you’ll see is explosive.


In this case, 1 + 1 equals 1000.


The results you get from training the one you’ve ignored will spill over into your entire life and you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish!
