We’ve been speaking to Peter Hannan who supplies meat to some of the finest restaurants across the UK. Such is his passion for innovation, he’s even imported a Himalayan salt chamber.
Plus top chef Michael Deane talks to us about the importance of confidence in our local produce, and how he’s developed his business.
We’ve also been hearing how the trend for bespoke items combined with technological advances has been helping some of the smaller players in the food sector. Ross Hamilton from Belfast’s BeansUp has developed a pre-order, pre-pay app for independent coffee shops that’s being used in the US.
