Coming Out the Tarot Closet!
Growing up as a young, Baptist Christian girl with ruffled socks and matching usher gloves, I wouldn’t have pictured my future self reading Tarot Cards. I was taught in Church that Tarot Cards or any form of “fortune telling and divination” classifies as “Idol Worship” and would make God jealous. I internalized this as not wanting to read, touch, or be close to Tarot Cards, I was convinced they were evil and would invite bad spirits into my home.
In this episode, I talk about how I transmuted my fear of Tarot into a thriving self reflective practice. I also discuss how my Tarot journey soon evolved into an entrepreneur business, and I share the steps that led me to opening, Black Lady Tarot services, and connecting with a tribe a women during a global pandemic.
Have you been curious about Tarot lately? Listen in for 3 tips I feel are essential for starting with Tarot in any form.
