It’s so easy to forget one of the most amazing resources all of us have at our disposal: other people. I just spent time with one of my business school classmates and business partners. It’s truly amazing what a boost this is spiritually, emotionally and mentally.

As a dude I find myself in isolation most when I need to be the least. I think a lot of men are bad about this. We tend to run to a self created mental cave. Don’t do that.

Reach out to the people you know and trust who make you better. Learn from them. Share you struggles with them, and let them share theirs.

Proverbs 27:17 reads, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”

I’ve quoted this multiple times and in fact have a series of episodes with this as the title. Go be the iron that sharpens another and by doing so you too will be sharpened.
