Buddy Young was one of the fastest men ever to play professional football. A world record holder in track, Buddy’s career started in the AAFC in 1947 and concluded after the 1954 NFL season. During his 9-year career he scored 17 rushing touchdowns, caught passes for 21 TD’s, scored 2 TD’s on punt returns and 4 TD’s on kickoff returns. On this episode of SFH, we will take a look back at the career of the man known as the “Bronze Bullet” – Buddy Young.
