Episode 10 of RetroBlast starts off with the tale of a random encounter with an import game shop on Ventura blvd. The LA area was a hotbed of import game shops in March of 1991. I was bound to stumble upon one at some point. The discovery opened me up to a whole new world of import games that I had previously only read about in the back pages of EGM. Actually seeing the games in the flesh was something I'll never forget.. My first two import games were Power League III for the PC Engine and Batman for the MegaDrive.
