What is the real story behind the closure of Mother’s Tavern after 40 years? The paper didn't quite seem to have the full story. We talk to multi restaurant, bar, and establishment owner Billy Hales and learn what actually went down. Billy owns everything from McCarthy’s to Bulls to Etto, to Milestone, to the Library, to Mason Bar, to Rooster Creek, to , (well you get the idea, yes there’s more). We ask what he thinks of the new owners at the old Mothers Tavern spot, which bar he wishes he owned, and what he plans to do with that SLO County liquor license just burning a hole in his pocket after unloading Creeky Tiki. Billy’s real, tells it like it is, and it’s sure to be a great convo.

Adam also pays tribute to Bob Stock (DJ Bob). The local beloved Dj and event specialist died suddenly Tuesday and it rocked the central coast and beyond.
