Welcome to the third episode of The QC STEP Podcast for the school year. On the first two episodes, I introduced our program, QCSTEP.com and The QC STEP Podcast. On episode #64, I encouraged you to take advantage of STEP and work while you’re in high school. So the next thing to do is just blanket the area with applications, right? Of course if you want to get a job, you need to apply with lots of businesses, but there are a few things you should do before you fill out applications if you want to give yourself the best chance to be successful.

On this week’s episode, I give you four tips for preparing for your job search. I also answer a student-submitted question in this episode. A student from Mercer County High School has a question about who to go to if she has a question about a problem on the job.
