What’s up everyone, welcome to The Project Mayhem Sessions. This is our 26th episode! It’s hard to believe that it’s already been six months since we first began this podcast. It’s been a lot of fun putting it together and we hope that you are all enjoying each episode that we put out as we strive to make each one better than the last! This week is no exception as we’ve got new tracks from Noisestorm and Daddy’s groove and Congorock followed by an amazing guest mix from another DJ duo coming out of Orange County called Frisson.

Five Questions with Frisson

1. How would you describe your musical style? 

Always danceable! Mostly, we love the sound of Melbourne bounce, incorporating it’s sound into all of our mixes. However, we have an eclectic track selection, playing genres ranging from moombahton, house, trance, and even some hardstyle. We love surprises, throwing in classics and the music we all love and remember.

2. Who are your favorite DJs or biggest influences? 

Well right now we have just discovered this new artist D!rty Palm who is on the top of our favorites list at the moment. We are also are into Deorro, J-Trick, Komes, Bombs Away and TJR.

3. What’s the best show you have attended so far?

Steve Moore aka Nevets: EDC 2012 – Knife Party and Pretty Lights

Caitlin Callahan aka QOE: Tough one. Yikes. Felguk Nocturnal 2011 really stands out

4. Current favorite songs? 

Deorro – Booty In Your Face

5. What would be on your fantasy rider?

Beer and honey wheat pretzels are a must!
