Animal Wise Radio welcomes No-Kill Advocacy Center's, Nathan Winograd, author, speaker, advocate and advisor for shelter reform and a founding leader of the no-kill movement. We'll also meet another advocate who looked at a problem and chose to take action. Robbie Benson, President of San Diego AWOL (Animals Worthy of Life) joins us. A central mission is their Dog Encounter Task Force initiative, reaching out to law enforcement with tools and training, making canine interactions with law enforcement officers safer.
