It’s been said that your kids are only as healthy as you are. In a sense, that is true. What will you do with the unthinkable? In a world full of brokenness, heartache and trials, we must find God faithful if we are to survive. It’s what I like to call the “Joseph principle.†The choices we make in the storm will make all the difference: for us and for our children. Come and be encouraged today, as together we bask in HIS love and His promise that we will never be consumed. (Isaiah 43:2)


Kim Sorgius is a passionate homeschooler, mother of 4 sweet kids, and a life-long student. After teaching 8 years in public school, she traded her M.A. in Early Childhood Education for sippy cups and homeschool co-ops. Kim is the author of Not a Statistic: Parenting in a Broken World.These days she can be found writing at Not Consumed and The Homeschool Village, where she daily encourages women to find God faithful in the storms of life.
