Chuck Schneekloth on Recovery, Tapering, Seed Times and More

March 02, 2019

Episode 5 of the Masters Milers podcast is a conversation with Chuck Schneckloth. Chuck is the founder of the Garden State Track Club, a NJ-based team with over 1,000 members including both post-collegiate and masters runners. Chuck also is a coach on the team. He ran in college at Rutgers and recently turned 40 and started competing on the track as a master. He won both the 800 and 1500 at the USATF Masters National Outdoor Championships last summer and was finalist in the 800m at the recent WC in Malaga, Spain. For this episode, rather than an interview, Chuck and I discussed some common questions and issues faced by masters runners.
