Tom Woods, Property Rights and Economics

October 06, 2015

LiveFreeFM Ep. 011
In the absence of the State, what sort of property rights concepts might emerge? Tom Woods joins me today to discuss that very topic. Are property rights needed for a thriving society? Could they even exist without the State being there to enforce them? We get down and dirty, talking about property as a form of theft, absentee ownership, and a whole lot more. In the second half of the show, I do a review of the classic economics book by Henry Hazlitt, Economics In One Lesson, where I explore some of the common economics fallacies that this book completely destroys. This is a very thought provoking episode.
