This week, Ps 23:3b – “He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”  If they are going to flourish, sheep need someone else to guide them – who knows where green pastures and good waters are, where the trails are sure and predators are unlikely to roam.  We need this too, though we often resist it.  This Sunday we will talk about how the Good Shepherd leads his people, and our need as sheep to follow closely, obediently, trustingly.
