On this week’s show I started by heralding the launch of Planetside Arena as a free to play *surprisedpikachu.jpg* on Steam! I then spent the next 10 minutes explaining why the game feels dead on arrival and the Pay to Win title that Planetside 2 isn’t. Don’t worry, I had a few good things to say about the game too. After that, it was two bad news stories back to back with d0ku’s announcement that he was not going to create anything else for Planetside 2 and the news that Iridar.net went dark because he didn’t want to pay to host a site for a game he no longer plays. After I got all the bad news out of the way it was time for a feel good story of a player named FuzzBuket who landed a dream job thanks to Daybreak Games and Player Studio.
