“Grace is the state of peace that comes by recognizing that everyone we meet, including our past self, is on their own journey; and that their journey is not ours to direct.”

The simple fact that each one of the 7 billion people on Earth has their own journey means that we will happen upon MANY with whom we disapprove. It is natural for that disapproval to turn into resentment over time.

The only way past resentment is through grace.
