Innovations in Patient Care

Looking at Advanced Practice Nurses and State Regulation

October 31, 2014

This week on the show, I bring you another special interview segment from the NTI 2014 conference in Denver. This annual conference for critical care nurses features some of the best and brightest in healthcare professionals and companies. In this segment I chat with critical care nurse practitioner Julie Stanik-Hutt. Julie has served on numerous national committees related to nurse practitioner practice, education and regulation and is frequently asked to provide expert opinion on policy for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) education and practice. She has consulted on APRN education and practice with leaders from 15 countries.
