Nurse Researchers Look at Oral Health and Telemedicine Outcomes

October 15, 2014

This week on the show, I bring you two more special interview segments from the NTI 2014 conference in Denver. This annual conference for critical care nurses features some of the best and brightest in healthcare professionals and companies. In the first segment, I chat nurse researcher Cindy L. Munro. Cindy is associate dean for research and innovation and professor at the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Her research activities focus consistently on the relationship between oral health and prevention of systemic disease

Then, in the second half of the show, I bring you a segment with Ruth Kleinpell, a critical care nurse and AACN Flame of Excellence Award Winner. She’s well known for her work on research into outcomes for telemedicine ICU patients. Check it out.
