This week on the show, I bring you two more special interview segments from the NTI 2014 conference in Denver. This annual conference for critical care nurses features some of the best and brightest in healthcare professionals and companies. In the first segment, I interview critical care nurse researcher Richard Arbour about how nurses are key components in preparing patients and families for organ donation.

Next up is a segment with another critical care nurse educator. Karen Stutzer is the executive director of nursing practice and critical care services for Chilton Hospital in New Jersey. She has been working on research into how nurses react to moral distress in their jobs so that it doesn’t affect their ability to care for their patients. Check it out.
