This week we are discussing pine rotations in the south. We break down the common rotation of loblolly plantation pines and discuss each stand entry and how it accomplishes timber management goals. We further discuss this rotation from beginning to end in the context of improving habitat for deer and turkey and specifically how it can be tweaked to meet wildlife management goals.
