Episode 27: A Date With Destiny

October 16, 2014

Hey everybody, Adam here. As is always the case, summer has been slow as far as new game releases go. But with the change of seasons comes new games, and we’re talking about Destiny, Bungie’s first release since Halo: Reach.

We also discussed:

  • Intel pulling ads from Gamasutra in response to GamerGate criticisms
  • Tetsuya Nomura leaving the Final Fantasy XV development team
  • Mojang being bought out by Microsoft
  • Steam pushing further into crowdsourced reviews
  • For some reason, Hollywood thinking Tetris as a film is a good idea

Thanks for listening to us this week and we’re looking forward to hear what you have to say about Destiny. Next time we get together, we’ll be talking about the new Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and if it lives up to the hype the rest of the series has placed on it.
