This week we are joined by the unbelievably talented Maine Youth Rock Orchestra, as well as Kevin Oates, their brilliant instructor and founder of MYRO, and one of the musicians who supplied some great music for them to play, Sara Hallie Richardson.

Maine youth rock orchestra is an organization in part with the Maine Academy of Modern Music that provides orchestral string students ages 12-18 the opportunity to work along side and perform with Maine-based bands and musicians in an alternative setting, creating a positive environment for students to be creative and to explore their musical abilities.

They have a premiere performance coming up so full of musical talent, that it might blow the audiences’ socks off at Port City Music Hall on May 8th, starting at 7:30pm, featuring the MYRO, Sara Hallie Richardson, Lyle Divinsky and some Yard Sail.
