The hymn that St. Paul quotes in his letter to the Philippians traces the pattern of Christ’s incarnation: Emptying and descent from heaven to earth, obedience and death, glorification and exaltation. It is the pattern of Jesus Christ, and therefore it is the pattern of Christian life.

We celebrated at this liturgy the baptism of Wes Shepherd and Chelsey Widen.
