Tranexamic Acid (TXA) for Hemorrhage in Trauma

Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been used for years to reduce hemorrhage in the operating room. We evaluate the efficacy of TXA to reduce hemorrhage in trauma patients in the Emergency Department, looking at data from the CRASH-2 trial and the MATTERs study.
