419. Dance Class: a mindful story and relaxation

July 26, 2024

Ballet Bunny practices her dancing and teaches Dragon how to turn and spin.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Dance Class,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Female

Story Begins: 9:39

Dance Class Excerpt:

Ballet Bunny had just finished lunch in her den and was now cleaning up. The last few days had been rainy, so she felt grateful have a dry and cozy home. This morning the rain had finally stopped and now the sun was peeking out from behind the clouds. The wet spots on the ground outside were drying up, which meant she could practice her dancing outside today! It had been a few days since she had been able to practice outside and she was feeling a little restless. Her body needed to move!

Before going outside, Ballet Bunny took a few minutes to warm up her body before beginning to practice dancing. It was important to stretch before doing any strenuous dance moves, especially since she hadn’t danced in several days.

Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness.
