The Dukes of Hazzard TV show was on the air for over 30 years. Only now in 2015, we decided to pull it off the air for its depiction of the confederate flag painted on a the roof of a car. The Jeffersons TV show is still on the air despite George Jefferson sprinkling in the word “Honky” whenever he can. And finally, Court documents prove that Bill Cosby did intend to drug women so that he could have sex with them. No one is calling for The Cosby show to be taken off the air.
Hypocrisy is the common thread here. The sad part is: NOTHING in our society has changed and nothing will change as long as we allow ourselves to be distracted by nonsense.
